Tarplett Generator Services has been built up over the last twenty years on customer service and commitment; the two engineers that founded the company are still running the business today. We specialise in diesel generators offering countrywide cover. TGS was initially set up to maintain critical standby generator systems. Through sustained hard work and customer support we are now operating with twelve engineers and maintaining over 2000 standby generators, with a genuine 24 hour, 7 day, 52 week back up.

Tarplett's, own and, operate a fleet of rental generators for our service maintenance customers, this combined with our 65ton metre HIAB, equipped crane lorry enables us to guarantee that 24/7 service.

After operating for a few years offering a good reliable service, it became apparent that when our existing customers needing generator upgrades they wanted to be supplied by TGS. We offered and sold second user equipment, always with new switchgear. This inevitably led to becoming agents for manufacturers of new diesel generators.

After a number of years, and several agencies we have now found the ideal partner for new generators in SDMO.

New generators are based on Mitsubishi John Deere, or Volvo engines with alternators of either Mecc Alte or Leroy Somer manufacture. These generators are offered with the option of an acoustically treated weather-proof housing. Open frame or extended base tank options are available to order. All generators are offered with a range of control systems and switchgear to suit many different applications.

Used generators from a wide range of manufactures all offered with similar options to the new. Cummins, CAT, Perkins, Scania, Iveco, MAN, Deutz, John Deere and Dorman engines coupled to CAT, Newage, Marelli and Leroy Somer alternators, ranging from 10 kVA to 1250 kVA, up to 120 generators are available immediately from stock.
