HVO fuel, fuel testing, and a Registered Dealer of Controlled Oils

All the generators we support run on diesel with a minimum 5% bio diesel content. We're an early adopter of HVO — a greener drop-in alternative — and, as an RDCO, one of the few generator companies that can order, deliver and manage fuel directly, without a third party.

What is HVO?

A premium, renewable diesel alternative

HVO is a high quality diesel fuel made from renewable, sustainable raw materials, releasing no new CO2 into the atmosphere. It's part of the paraffinic family of fuels — stable, renewable and high quality — suited to vehicles, generators and industrial power systems alike. It meets EN 15940 standards and Fuel Quality Directive 2009/30/EC Annex II, so it's a direct drop-in replacement for mineral diesel with no infrastructure changes or investment needed.

We offer a fuel testing service, with reports built into a preventative maintenance programme, plus solutions for storage tanks — so problems get addressed early rather than discovered at the worst possible moment.

Registered Dealer of Controlled Oils

We manage your fuel directly — no third party needed

As an approved RDCO, TGS can order, deliver and provide gas oil (red diesel) directly, without going through a third-party supplier. Red diesel remains available for a handful of industries — agriculture and hospitals among them — but for most clients, HVO is now the better long-term choice.
